Values and Objects

Regenesis is a politically and religiously neutral non-profit organisation dedicated to understanding heritage and improving personal resilience.

We contribute to racial harmony, helping to create a more balanced and inclusive society through the thoughtful use of the outdoors, challenge events and existing educational asset.

Visit

There are multiple approaches to Holocaust Education. Combining a personal physical challenge with fundraising gives our participants a relevant and meaningful purpose on their heritage journey.

Challenge

We have created a series of personal challenge events designed to raise both awareness and funds for Holocaust education projects and charities.

These life-affirming experiences combine endurance activities such as walking and cycling with visits to significant Holocaust sites, museums, and memorials. Each event is carefully crafted to offer both physical challenge and meaningful reflection.

Our programme ranges from gentle walks, like a ramble in Windermere that includes a visit to the Lake District Holocaust Project, to more demanding adventures such as a camping trek tailored for teenagers. At the highest level, participants can take on our most challenging event: a double marathon from Terezín to Prague.

People

Trek leaders are trusted with your safety as their number one priority, and are qualified in the UK to lead large groups or camp. Our style of leadership is inclusive and transformational helping you safely develop your personal journey.

Donate

As a not for profit CIC, resources are limited, and we want to offer value for money for participants despite certain costs being higher. However we encourage young trekkers to participate, and  may be unaffordable and uses holiday allowances. We also need to raise funds for a medical kit to be bought and left in Prague.
